Jewellery Care Guide
For handmade products, any imperfections are characteristics of their artisanal nature.
Most of our products are made with 18K or 24K gold plated on 925 sterling silver base metal, making them durable and tarnish resistant, as well as delicate and safe for your skin.
Gold metal will not oxidize or discolor with proper care. To ensure they last a lifetime we recommend some care tips below.
Care tips
Protect your jewellery from knocks, drop and scratches as this will damage the polish finish and surface protection layer, especially those with pearls, stones or potteries.
Do not use paper towels to clean your jewellery as they can cause scratching. Especially natural gemstones and pearls can be fragile.
Put your jewellery on last when getting made up and dressed! Perfume and other corrosive liquid will damage your jewellery (chlorine in pools is particularly damaging, for example).
Remove your jewellery before exercise, taking bath or shower, swimming, going sauna and before going to sleep.
Storage
Store in a safe, away from directly lifght and dry place when not worn to protect them from the elements of daily exposure.
Store each piece of your jewellery separately from other pieces, to avoid scratching or tangling, inside protective the provided box.
Clean
To clean, use a damp, soft cloth or a professional jewellery cloth.
You may gently clean your jewellery with warm water and detergent-free soap and dry with a soft cotton cloth.
To keep gemstones clean and shiny, lightly scrub with a soft-bristled brush, warm water, and detergent-free soap. Avoid chemicals or excessive temperatures when cleaning.
